Leon Day aka Half Christmas! How to wear green and red all year long
June 25th marks the 6 month countdown to christmas! Also known as Leon Day , which is Noel backwards. This National Holiday is often celebrated by the maker community to start creating products for Christmas or just a good excuse to bust out your ugly sweater and day drink! In honor of this holiday I wanted to show a couple ways of wearing green and red, the official colors of Christmas, all year long!
Even people who don't celebrate Christmas hold a stigma about wearing the holiday colors. But do faux pas even exist anymore?! Shake off those "fashion rules" because its 2017! The year of zero fashion rules.
Breaking up the red and green with another color such as navy, shown above, takes away the 'Jingle Bell Rock' vibes.
Head to toe olive green with pops of red with the bag and lipstick keeps it chic. This works vice versa.
Don't hesitate to just go for it!
When searching through my closet, I realized I have a lot of red and green pieces that I had never worn together before! I hope this inspires you to be more resourceful and experimental with your wardrobe throughout the year.
Merry Half Christmas! Happy Pride!
