Space Saving Ways to Organize Your Earrings Under 15$
It all started when I received my first FabFitFun box this past winter. I actually decided to get the box because of this specific item. It was the Halston Jewelry Portfolio Case. It is a travel case to hold a handful of rings, earrings, necklaces, etc. I was instantly smitten and the only thing I didn’t like about it was that it couldn’t fit more!
I have a whole page of my website dedicated to accessories so you better believe I have a decent collection. Especially when it comes to earrings. In high school my mom would ask me, “ Are you going to put some earrings on?”. Rebellious me would say no but in the end she won because now I feel totally naked without them! Statement earrings to dainty studs, the more the merrier!
Since Marie Kondo has taken over all of our minds, I have been tidying up a lot lately. My jewelry box needed some loving the most. My earrings were outgrowing the drawer of a jewelry box I bought from Target. My studs suffered the most as I just tossed them all in a round section off unit. I would have to dig them out to find the pairs. It wasn’t working at all! On top of that, I was down to about 5 earring backings that I was switching off every time I changed earrings.
I wanted a way to see everything and a way to keep them in good condition for longer. So I googled “ earring organizer” and found this simple binder style organizer and wow, can life always be this easy?
Step 1: Buy some earring backings on Amazon ( these are the ones I bought ). This organization method actually needs them to work best! Even for the hook back earrings. So stock up before switching to the binder.
Step 2: Pick a binder!
I picked this Black Faux Leather Croc Print one. $11.99 ( I found mine, this exact one, on the WISH app for under 5$!) The pages already have holes to hold 12 pairs of earrings but I like it because the pages are foamy and I was able to easily make more holes. I was able to fit almost all of my studs onto one page!
If you are a minimalist with few pieces in your collection or would like a travel size way to store your jewelry, I thought this Vlando Viaggio Small Jewelry Case, Travel Accessory Storage Box $13.99 was super cute!
This also totally easy to DIY with a binder, felt pages and a hole puncher!
Now that my earrings are paired up and organized I feel soooo much better and my jewelry box is once again a place that “sparks joy”!
I hope someone out there loves this idea as much as I do!
