Inspiration at the Architecture Graveyard
Earth month always recharges my mind to look within myself and my habits and think about my impact on the world. I have been sketching a lot of designs and want to bring them to life in an eco friendly way. I haven’t figured out exactly how yet but it is nice to just get pen on paper and let the ideas flow. Ya know?
One of my favorite places to visit ( and photograph! Check out one of my past shoots HERE and HERE) to get inspired in SLO is the Architecture Graveyard located in Poly Canyon. This is where first year architecture student go to bring their ideas to life every year. Most projects they build get taken down but some stay for a very long time.
In this post I am posing in front of a few of my favorite structures while wearing a Karen Kane faux wrap dress and Matrboomie earrings. Both ethical and sustainable brands that make me feel so good wearing them!
A wrap dress is perfect for the easy, breezy, sunny days ahead! Also FYI , the “hike” to this location is easy enough to wear a dress while doing so but I did wear a better pair of walking shoes! I highly suggest visiting :) Where do you go to refuel on inspiration?
